Autumn Afternoon Walk through Carlton, Fitzroy and the City

It's been a month since I posted here. Not very much has really been going on, other than being very busy with work.

Today I finally had a free afternoon and evening, and despite being super tired from getting hardly any sleep from last night's night shift, I took a rather long walk in the afternoon. A big circuit of Carlton and Fitzroy, and back down to the City and back home. The weather was nice and sunny, albeit a bit windy and chilly.

The highlight of the walk was discovering a nice vantage point for viewing the east end of the CBD: it's the top floor of a car park of one of the hospitals over there. For the life of me I can't remember which actual hospital, since that whole area is a bit of a "hospital district", but I could easily find it if I needed to. All it would take is a bit of playing around with Google Street View, but I'm feeling tired and lazy right now.
