Her Majesty's Theatre is currently playing Les Miserables, and the building is decorated in the colours and images of the show. One awesome feature of this is the flood lighting scheme which makes the whole building very colourful at night. I walk past here virtually every day (it's right in my neighbourhood), and have been meaning to do some night photography of it for a while.
My night photography is getting better I think. There's less graininess and noise in the images now.
I'm also getting more and more confident about setting up my tripod in relatively crowded public spaces - such as these sidewalks in the area around Her Majesty's Theatre. It no longer feels weird like it used to. Not that I really need to develop this tolerance - it's not like I'm actually aiming to be a professional photographer or anything - but it's just something I've been noticing.
Here are the best shots I managed to get. Most are quite short exposures, but some are up to 4 or 5 seconds. There's minimal post-processing too, and I haven't added any saturation to the colour. It really is as colourful as it looks here in real life!
