Winter Afternoon Walk

It's been a while since I've posted anything here. I guess it's mostly because I haven't been doing much photography lately - the gloomy winter light just hasn't been inspiring for getting out on photo walks much.

Then today turned out to be a fine clear winter's day, after a run of mostly quite cloudy weather, so I took the opportunity to finally go out on a little photo walk. The light was a bit subdued and the atmosphere slightly hazy, but that just added to the wintery-but-fine atmosphere.

I did some basic hand-held macro, as well as general cityscape stuff as usual. Here's a selection of shots:
